The problem

Five companies means five bank logins before coffee.

When you own more than one company, the question "how much cash do we have?" has no single answer. It lives across a dozen bank tabs, three card portals, and a spreadsheet someone updated last Tuesday.

Your accounting software shows one company at a time. Your personal budgeting app blends everything into one pile. You end up rebuilding the picture by hand every time you need it, and by the time it is built, a bank has posted something new.

Mambo Money keeps that picture built for you: every company's accounts, each in its own book, all of them in one view you can open any time.

Everyday moments

Built for the moments when owners check their numbers.

Monday morning

Cash across every company

Open one page and see what each company holds and the total, before the first meeting of the week.

When a card is due

Pay from the right account

See every card's due date beside the cash that pays it, company by company, so every due date is in view.

At quarter end

Hand your accountant clean books

Each company's transactions are already filed and categorized, ready to export for the people who close your books.

When money is owed back

Confirm the refund landed

Pull every credit and refund across all companies into one list and check the one you were waiting for.

01

Connect every account, once.

Link the bank accounts, cards and brokerage accounts of every company you run. Each one is filed under the company it belongs to from the first day.

  • The banks you already use

Connections run through Plaid, the same bank link used by the apps you already trust with your accounts.

  • Your history comes with you

Bring years of past transactions from Monarch exports, CSV or OFX files, so the record starts where your books actually start.

  • New activity arrives on its own

When a bank posts, the new transactions flow in, and you can refresh any connection in one click.

02

One view of cash across every company.

Every company keeps its own rhythm. You see them move as one. See each company on its own, or all of them together, without opening a single bank website.

  • Each company, its own book

Every account and every transaction carries the company it belongs to, so a combined total and a single company's numbers both stay exact.

  • Currency handled for you

Every amount keeps its original currency and converts at that day's reference rate, so a euro payment from March reads at March's value.

  • Cards and due dates in the same place

Balances, statement dates and payment due dates for every card sit beside the cash they draw on.

03

A record that keeps everything.

Every transaction is kept for good, in the form the bank sent it and in clean, categorized form, so years from now the history is still whole.

  • Categories you approve

Your rules sort transactions automatically. Suggestions wait for your tap, so the books say exactly what you decided.

  • Credits and refunds, found

A built-in view pulls every refund and credit across all your companies, so money owed back to you is easy to confirm.

  • Search the whole history at once

Find any vendor, amount or note across every company and every year in one search.

04

Ask your books, in plain words.

Your record answers questions in conversation, with read-only access set per company, so each answer comes from exactly the books you chose.

"What did we spend on software last quarter, across all three companies?"

"Has the Amex refund from the September order posted yet?"

"Which cards are due this week, and from which account?"

05

Built like a record you can trust.

The way Mambo Money stores your records is designed around one idea: your numbers should be exact, and your accounts should stay yours.

  • Numbers masked before they are stored

Account, routing and card numbers are reduced to their last four digits before anything is saved.

  • Bank access kept apart from your data

The keys that connect your banks live in a separate secure store, named in the record and held outside it.

  • Every connection's health, in view

Each bank link shows when it last synced and what it last delivered, so a stalled connection is visible the same day.

Questions

What owners ask first

Who is Mambo Money for?

Owners who run more than one company and want every company's cash, cards and books in one place, each kept separate and all of them visible together.

Which banks does it work with?

Most US banks, card issuers and brokerages connect through Plaid, including Chase, American Express, Bank of America, Capital One, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Merrill and Axos.

Can I bring my existing history?

Yes. Import past transactions from Monarch exports, CSV or OFX files, and your record starts years back instead of today.

Does it handle other currencies?

Every amount keeps its original currency and converts at the reference rate for its own day, so totals across currencies stay accurate.

Where does my history live?

In a permanent record that keeps every transaction, the raw version the bank sent alongside the categorized one, so your history stays complete as connections are renewed.

How is Mambo Money different from accounting software?

QuickBooks Online and Xero each bill one company per subscription. Mambo Money keeps the accounts of every company you own together, each in its own book, so you see the whole picture in one place, and it hands your bookkeeper clean exports for whichever accounting tool they already use.

Does it move money?

Mambo Money reads your accounts and keeps the record. Payments and transfers stay with your bank, where you already make them, and Mambo Money shows each one as it posts so you can confirm it landed where it should.

Can I start with one company and add the rest later?

Yes. Connect the accounts of one company first, then add each new company as its own book whenever you are ready. Its history imports alongside, so every company's record starts where its books actually start.

How do I get access?
